Automated Registration Prevention (CAPTCHA)

The Forum module supports an essential feature aimed at preventing unauthorized registrations - or CAPTCHA (completely automated public Turing test to tell computers & humans apart). For each web forum, you’ll specify whether un-registered visitors can leave messages, or the protection will be used.

Using this method can help protect your forum’s forms from increasingly common robotic spammers that typically are not capable of recognizing text contained within block images.

Using the Bitrix CMS Forum Module, Site ADMINISTRATORS Can:

• Create an unlimited number of web forums.
• Classify web forums by subject.
• Assign access permissions to site visitors and web administrators.
• Create both moderated and post-moderated web forums.
• Set the following parameters within a web forum:

1. Replace new line with <br> (for HTML);
2. Allow images, tags B / U / I, links, lists, code, quotes, fonts and general HTML.
3. Allow smileys.
4. Allow file uploads (options: images, files with certain extensions, any or none).
5. Automatically ask un-registered users for their e-mail address.
6. Set sort mode: sort by last message date, number of replies, subject, start date or author.

• Move threads between web forums.
